Charlotte Crum,
Jane Leighton and
Lauren Triarsi have received America East All-Academic honors for their work during the indoor season. The league announced its All-Academic Teams Thursday morning.

Crompton has a 3.99 GPA as a microbiology major and was the 2023 America East Indoor Track and Field Elite 18 award winner. He also received the honor at this season's Cross Country Championships in the fall. He has been named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll all three of his seasons at Vermont. Crompton finished sixth in the 3000m at the AE Indoor Championship. He also ran Vermont's top marks of the season in the mile, 3000m, and 5000m.
Crum also has a 3.99 GPA as a Psychological Science major. She was the women's Indoor Track and Field Elite 18 award winner. She is also a three-time America East Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree. She earned All-Conference honors with a third-place finish in the 500m at the Indoor Championships. She ran Vermont's fastest 500m and 800m of the season and also maintained top-10 marks on AE performance list in both distances.
Leighton carries a 3.99 GPA majoring in Professional Nursing. The graduate student receives All-Academic honors for the sixth time in her career. She was named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll all four of her undergraduate years at Vermont. A co-captain this year Leighton ran Vermont's fastest mile, 3000m and 5000m this season. She also had top-10 marks on the America East performance list in the 1000m, mile, 3000m, and 5000m. She was named All-Conference performer in the 5000m at the 2023 Indoor Championships with a third-place performance.
Triarsi maintains a 3.72 GPA as a Public Communication major. She received All-Academic recognition following the 2022 outdoor campaign. She is also a three-time America East Commissioner's Honor Roll honoree. She was named America East's Most Outstanding Field Performer at the 2023 Indoor Track and Field Championships Sunday. Triarsi scored a personal-best 3,425 points in the women's pentathlon to claim the America East title. She also finished sixth in the individual high jump on Sunday with a mark of 1.60 meters.
Vermont track & field will begin the outdoor season on Saturday (Mar. 25) with a trip to UMass Lowell. The meet starts at 10 a.m. with the field events. Track events begin at 11 a.m. Fans can visit LancerTiming.com for live results throughout the meet.
