BOSTON – Several Catamounts recorded all-time marks to start the ECAC/IC4A Championships at Boston University Track & Tennis Center. A trio of Catamounts ran qualifying marks in the preliminaries on Saturday afternoon.

Matt Belfield said. "Jane and Dillon both moved up the rankings in their qualifying marks in the mile and 1K, respectively. They both finished extremely fast while moving up through the field.
Alex Siaton also had a great day with top-10 marks in both of his races. We're excited to go after some points tomorrow to end our indoor campaign on a high note."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lauren Triarsi recorded a second-place finish in the women's pentathlon on Friday afternoon. The senior scored a personal-best 3,511 points in the combined event, which is the fourth-highest mark in program history. Her performance included runner-up marks in the 60-meter hurdles (8.84s) and high jump (1.66m). Kayla Myers was eighth in the pentathlon with a score of 3,126 points.
- Jackson Baker finished fourth in the men's heptathlon with a score of 4,206 points to lead the Catamount duo in the multi-event. Baker recorded third-place finishes in the 1000-meter run (2:50.28) and high jump (1.78m) portions of the heptathlon. Henry Miller was sixth in the event with a score of 3,973 points.
- Jane Leighton placed fourth in the women's 1-mile prelims, running a career-best time of 4:51.78. The graduate student's mark ranks seventh all-time at UVM.
- Dillon Jensen ran a preliminary time of 2:27.53 in the men's 1000-meter run to qualify for tomorrow's finals. The junior placed ninth in the prelims with a mark that ranks No. 9 all-time at Vermont.
- Alex Warner qualified for the men's 500-meter finals after running a preliminary time of 1:06.26. The mark is Warner's fastest of the season.
- Alex Siaton placed 18th in the 60-meter prelims with a time of 7.03 seconds that ranks in a tie for sixth all-time at Vermont. His 200-meter time in the prelims of 21.93 seconds ranks third all-time.
UP NEXT
The Catamounts return to BU Track & Tennis Center on Sunday (Mar. 5) for Day 2 of the ECAC/IC4A Championships. Events begin at 10 a.m.
