SCOUTING THE RETRIEVERS
UMBC snapped a three-game winning streak last weekend with an 18-9 victory over UMass Lowell in Baltimore, Maryland. Claire Bockstie recorded a game-high six goals in the victory, and leads the Retrievers with 40 goals this season. The senior also has a team-high 19 assists and 59 points. UMBC is No. 2 in America East in goals per game (14.25) during conference. The Retrievers enter Saturday's matchup ranked No. 6 in the league standings.

UVM and UMBC meet for the 19th time in series history on Saturday. The Catamounts snapped a four-game winless streak with a 16-8 victory over the Retrievers on a rainy day at Virtue Field in 2022. Vermont scored eight times in the third quarter to distance themselves from the conference foe.
