Vermont (7-7, 3-2 AE) will close out the 2023 regular season Saturday (Apr. 29) when it hosts UMass Lowell (6-9, 0-5 AE) on Senior Day, presented by the UVM Alumni Association. The opening draw is set for 12 p.m. ET at Virtue Field, and will broadcast live on

TOURNAMENT SPOT CLINCHED
The Catamounts clinched their third consecutive trip to the America East Tournament with a 12-10 victory over UMBC on Saturday (Apr. 22) in Baltimore. Vermont's three-straight tournament appearances match the longest streak in program history.

SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell was eliminated from the possibility of playing in the conference tournament. The River Hawks are in search of their first win in league play. UML last earned a victory in on April 5 when it defeated non-conference opponent, Boston University, 11-9. Jade Caitlin leads UMass Lowell in scoring with 28 goals, 19 points, and 47 points this season. Molly Shaw also has a team-high 28 goals this season. Hannah Shaddock has started in all 15 games as UMass Lowell's goalkeeper, posting a .388 save percentage and 13.65 goals against average.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts and River Hawks meet for the ninth time in series history in Saturday's regular season finale. Vermont owns a 6-2 mark against UMass Lowell, with wins in each of the last three games. The Cats are 3-0 on Virtue Field.

WEEKLY AWARDS
A pair of Catamounts picked up America East weekly awards on Monday (Apr. 24) after completing a 2-0 week and clinching a conference tournament berth.Â
Ava Vasile was named Offensive Player of the Week, andÂ
Jane Trauger garnered her fourth Rookie of the Week honor of the season. Vasile scored eight goals and two assists to lead the Catamounts. Trauger had four goals in Vermont's two victories.

THE COMEBACK CATS
Vermont rallied back from significant deficits in each of their two victories last week. The Catamounts erased a four-goal deficit in a 13-11 win over Dartmouth on Virtue Field. UVM then mounted a seven-goal comeback in Saturday's 12-10 victory over UMBC.

NO. 2 ALL-TIME
Ava Vasile's second goal against UMBC on Saturday moved her to No. 2 on the all-time goals list at Vermont, netting the 153rd of her career. The senior passed Jessica Roach, who scored 152 goals from 2012 to 2015.
