BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont women's hockey head coach
Jim Plumer has selected five student-athletes to lead the Catamounts during the 2023-24 campaign. 2023 World Championship bronze medalist Natálie Mlýnková will serve as captain for Vermont. The Catamounts will have four alternates this season with
Hailey Burns,
Sara Levesque,
Maddy Skelton and
Alaina Tanski. Skelton served as an alternate captain last season as well.
"This is a large group but it is truly representative of our team," said Plumer. "I am really excited to work with Natalie, Hailey, Sara, Maddy, and Alaina to integrate a large incoming class and to ensure that our culture stays strong."
The Catamounts are coming off another record-breaking season in which they matched the program record for wins and finished the season ranked 11th in the USCHO Division I Women's poll.
