BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont men's lacrosse head coach
Chris Feifs announced the addition of Devin Samuelson as the program's newest assistant coach on Thursday.
"We are very excited to welcome Devin Samuelson to the Men's Lacrosse program," Feifs said. "His character and work ethic make him an immediate fit for our team culture. Devin's development running the defense under legendary Coach McCormack at Williams College in the highly competitive NESCAC conference partnered with his background at Springfield college, which is known for producing great coaches, has prepared him well for Vermont. I look forward working with Devin on the defensive end of the field and I know our guys will too."
Samuelson most recently served as a defensive coordinator at Division-III Williams College in Massachusetts. Samuelson spent four years with the Ephs and helped them finish 18
th in the nation. Samuelson's defense caused the second-most caused turnovers in program history and allowed the third-fewest man-up goals in the NESCAC. Williams was nationally ranked in the top-20 all season as Samuelson coached the league's best goalie and two All-American honorable mention defenders.
A five-year player at Springfield College, Samuelson was part of a team that went to four NCAA Tournaments including a Sweet 16 appearance in 2019.
