UTICA, N.Y. – Former Catamount Ian Mackay '18 and Team Canada won the World Lacrosse Box title on Sunday night as they defeated the United States 13-7.

Team Canada has won every rendition of this tournament since it began in 2003 with six teams. They won all six of their games in the 10-day tournament, including the U.S. and England twice, en route to gold. MacKay appeared in four games, recording a goal in their first match against the U.S. on Sept. 24.
MacKay has won two box titles in the last four months, including his second consecutive NLL title in May.
