DURHAM, N.H. – Tasmin Cookman scored with 56 seconds to go in overtime to help New Hampshire (6-7, 3-0 AE) defeat Vermont (4-7, 1-2 AE) on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Wildcats had the first two chances of the game, forcing Merle Vaandrager into two big saves with nine seconds to go in the first quarter and again in the 17th minute.
- Lotte Kanters broke the deadlock in the 28th minute when she scored directly off a penalty corner from Olivia Nolan.
- Nicole Poulakis evened the score in the 34th minute off a penalty stroke.
- Sophia Drees restored the Catamount's advantage in the 48th minute when she scored on a penalty stroke for the second straight week.
- Thirteen seconds after Drees had given Vermont the lead, Cookman scored to tie the game back at two.
- Cookman scored with less than a minute to go at the end of overtime off an assist from Katheljine Knuttel on a penalty corner to give New Hampshire the win.

- Vaandrager posted a career-high eight saves and saw her 184-minute shutout streak end with the goal from Poulakis.
- Nolan's 28th-minute assist was her first point of the season.
- Drees has two penalty stroke goals on the season, which is a career high. She also posted five shots on goal for the second straight game.
