BURLINGTON, Vt. – The Vermont men's basketball team took a loss in North Andover, Mass. against Merrimack on Saturday night.
TJ Long led the Catamounts in scoring with 22 points and six threes.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Catamounts started the game off with a 5-0 run thanks to a left-wing three from TJ Long.
- A TJ long corner three would put the Catamounts down 10-8 with 14 minutes remaining in the first half.
- Vermont trailed 21-17 after the 8-minute media timeout.
- Catamounts went on a 7-0 run from the 9-minute mark to 3 minutes left in the first half. In that span, TJ Hurley hit a floater and was fouled for a three-point play.
- Merrimack led Vermont 28-22 at the half. Warriors guard Adam Clark led Merrimack with 11 points at half. TJ Long led the Catamounts with eight points.
- Hurley kicked things off in the 2nd half with a three from the top of the key.
