COACH'S QUOTE
"Yeah, I mean a big, exciting, great win, another great defensive performance," Becker said. "For me personally, with my 300th, it's a big deal and hard to believe. For Aaron to have that kind of game tonight meant a lot to me, passing a milestone and just willing us to victory. Obviously didn't want to lose one of them last weekend and would have been happy to get the 300th win on the road, but to do it at home in front of our community and our fan, you know is really, really special. One that I'll never forget."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Shamir Bogues got the scoring started for Vermont on a layup after Nick Fiorillo found him cutting to the middle. Deloney got on the board with 16:09 left of the first half after drilling his first three of the game. By the first media timeout UVM led 7-4 with 15:41 remaining of the half.
- TJ Long responded to a 5-0 scoring run by UNH coming out of timeout with a crucial three-pointer of his own in front of the Wildcats' bench, putting Vermont back on top, 10-9.
- Despite three consecutive turnovers by UNH, the Wildcats were able to snag the lead after Trey Woodyard scored a three-pointer from the corner, putting the Catamounts down 18-19 with 7:50 remaining of the opening half.
- Ileri Ayo-Faleye's bucket from long range gave Vermont a two-point advantage at the 6:17 mark, 21-19.
- Each team took turns trading buckets for the next four minutes with Matt Veretto taking the lead back for Vermont after swishing a three-point shot from the corner following an assist from Deloney. The Catamounts led 26-25 with 1:46 left in the first half.
- Dior Davis made two free throws with 0:10 left, giving UNH the late 27-26 lead against Vermont. Deloney answered in a massive way, getting open on the three-point line and making his third triple of the night with 0:01 remaining to send the Catamounts into halftime ahead, 29-27.
- The Catamounts erased an early 4-0 run by UNH to start the second frame, going on an 8-0 run of their own, led by a shifty layup from Deloney and a three-pointer each from Ayo-Faleye and Fiorillo. Vermont led 37-31 with 16:00 left of gametime.
- Patrick Gym exploded at the 15:06 mark of the second frame after Deloney cashed in a layup plus a foul, elevating him past the 1,000-career point mark in a Catamounts uniform.
- Deloney came back on the very next possession, connecting on another three-pointer, while getting fouled, with the opportunity to score a four-point play. Deloney capitalized on the free throw to orchestrate a 7-3 scoring run all on his own. Vermont led 45-34.
- Vermont continued to lean on Deloney offensively, as he led the charge of a 9-6 scoring run with four points. Sam Alamutu and Jace Roquemore also contributed buckets in that spurt to give the Catamounts a 54-40 lead with 7:15 remaining of the game.
- UVM and UNH battled back-and-forth for the remainder of the game with the Catamounts ending on a 16-14 run. Vermont's lead was too much for the Wildcats to claw back from as they came out victorious, 70-54.
