RIVERDALE, NY – Charlie Pope had six goals and an assist as Vermont (1-2) defeated Manhattan (0-2) on Saturday afternoon in the snow in Manhattan.Â

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
- Pope picked up his first two goals in the first quarter to keep the Catamounts tied at two. Cullen Decker picked up the first of his two assists on the day on Pope's second goal of the quarter.Â
- Pope had two more points in the second quarter as he scored and assisted on one of Griffin Fenech's two goals.Â
- In addition to tallies from Fenech and Pope, Max Frattaroli and Brock Haley scored, Decker picked up his second assist on the goal by Haley.Â
- The lone goal in the third quarter came from Haley off an assist from Luke Reiter.Â
- In the fourth quarter, Pope had three goals, and Frattaroli picked up his second of the afternoon.Â
- Tristan Whitaker assisted on two of the goals while Reiter assisted on the other.Â
