SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
The Wildcats Saturday's matchup on a four-game losing streak, falling to Holy Cross (L, 7-18), UConn (L, 5-17), Iona (L, 11-12), and Canisius (L, 6-16). UNH was picked No. 4 in the 2024 America East Preseason Coach's Poll, tied with Bryant. Graduate attacker, Katie Taranto, leads the Wildcats in points (19) with 17 goals and two assists. Not far behind her is Liv Dunn (10 goals, 5 assists) and Allie Connerty (7 goals, 6 assists). Graduate defender, Ava Schroeder leads the defense with 15 ground balls and nine caused turnovers.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont is 9-4 all-time against UNH and is 5-2 when on the road. The Catamounts have won the last four meetings with the Wildcats. Vermont defeated New Hampshire 16-13 at home a season ago.

Ava Vasile ranks first in the conference in goals per game (3.88) and 12th nationally. She has scored 31 times through eight contests. Vasile has tied a career-high six goals in three games this season. She ranks third all-time at UVM in career points (231) and needs only eight points to tie for second. The program record is 255.

Anna Rosenberger has recorded 53 saves on the season in seven games, averaging 7.57 saves per game. She had a career-high 10 saves in Sunday's matchup against Villanova. Rosenberger had recorded nine saves in each of the two previous games.

PRESEASON POLL
UVM was picked second in the America East Preseason Poll. Reigning champion UAlbany was selected first in the poll, receiving six first-place votes. UVM edged out Binghamton – who picked up the remaining first-place votes – by one point. Voting was conducted by the league's head coaches, who were not allowed to vote for their own team.
