Charlie Pope registered four goals as Vermont (1-4) fell to Harvard (5-0) Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont opened the game scoring the first two goals led by Tristan Whitaker and Pope to take the early 2-0 lead. Luke Reiter fed Pope on his goal.
- Harvard answered at the 12:49 mark of the first quarter, cutting the lead to 2-1.
- Frattaroli ripped a worm burner shot passed Harvard's goalie, giving UVM the 3-1 edge.
- At 11:14 of the first frame, Cullen Decker scored for UVM on a bounce shot going top right. UVM gained a 4-1 lead forcing Harvard to call a timeout and recoup.
- Coming out of timeout, Harvard orchestrated a five-goal scoring run enabling them to take the lead, 6-4.
- Whitaker answered, scoring an unassisted goal at 5:40 in the first frame. UVM trailed 6-5.
- Whitaker assisted on Pope's second of the game with 2:46 remaining of the opening quarter, knotting the score 6-6.
- Harvard then scored two goals in seven seconds as Sam King and Ray Dearth combined to make it 8-6.
- Frattaroli then scored two straight in about a minute to knot the game at eight. Brock Haley and Luke Reiter assisted each of the goals.
- Harvard's' Miles Botkiss scored with 1:29 remaining in the first half, regaining the lead, 9-8.
- UVM bounced back thanks to Pope scoring unassisted with 0:31 left of the half, knotting the score at 9-9.
- Harvard went on a 4-goal scoring run throughout the third quarter, not allowing a single goal, taking a 13-9 lead into the final frame.
- Pope opened scoring in the final quarter at 12:29, scoring his 14th of the season to bring Vermont within three, 13-10.
- With 7:10 remaining of gametime, Griffin Fenech scored for Vermont, unassisted, cutting Harvard's lead down to two, 13-11.
- Six seconds later, Harvard responded with a goal of their own, extending the lead, 14-11.
- Haley fed Reiter who ripped his third goal of the season with 4:39 remaining to make bring the Catamounts back within two, 14-12.
- Harvard scored one more before the end of regulation, securing the 15-12 victory.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Pope had a team high four goals followed by a hat trick from Frattaroli to go along with his one assist. Frattaroli earned a new career high in goals, assists, and points in a single game against Harvard.
- Pope also led the Catamounts with seven shots on goal.
- Whitaker contributed four points on two goals and two assists.
- George Egan had 16 saves for the second time this season as well as a game high 10 ground balls.
- Haley registered two assists against Harvard.
