Richmond, Va. āĀ The Catamounts continued their 2024 outdoor season as Emma Wapshare and Samantha Alexander competed in the Fred Hardy Invitational in Richmond today.Ā

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Wapshare finished second in the javelin with a throw of 36.14 meters.Ā
- Alexander threw the discus 40.10 meters, which was good enough for first place.Ā
UP NEXT
Vermont returns to action next week, competing in three meets. On Thursday (Mar. 28), the Catamounts will send several sprinters to Florida to compete in the Embry-Riddle Running Elements Classic. The next day, Mar. 29, Vermont will send select athletes to Bryant to compete in the Black and Gold Invite. The Catamounts will compete in the UMass Lowell Invitational on Mar. 30, the final meet of the weekend.Ā
