The Bandits won every playoff game en route to the franchise's sixth championship, with MacKay playing a significant role in transition. In five playoff games, Vermont's all-time leading goal scorer had three goals, eight assists, and 35 loose balls. Throughout the 18-game regular season, MacKay finished with 12 goals, 17 assists, and 160 loose balls.

It is the third straight season a former Catamount has captured the NLL title. In 2022, Warren Jeffrey '18 played an important defensive role on Colorado's championship squad.
