BURLINGTON, Vt. - Vermont (0-4) returns home for its home opener on Moulton Winder Field. The Catamounts will take on Wagner (1-2) on Sunday, Sept. 15 in their annual Youth Day presented by Healthy Living. The game will be streamed live on AmericaEast.TV with Brian McLaughlin on the call.

YOUTH DAY PRESENTED BY HEALTHY LIVING

• Sunday's contest will be the Catamounts annual Youth Day presented by Healthy Living. Kids 12 and younger will be granted free admission upon arrival while tickets last. We will have lawn games, face painting, bounce house, arts and crafts and more surrounding Moulton Winder Field starting at 11 a.m.
• Sunday is also Poster Day presented by UVM Print and Mail. Stay after the game and the team will be signing autographs in the Virtue Field concourse.

 
VERMONT OUTLOOK

• Vermont dropped both there games last weekend as they fell 3-1 to Michigan State and fell 2-1 in overtime to Ohio.
• Marie Dijkstra recorded her second goal of the season against Michigan State, while Sophia Lefranc scored her first of the campaign against Ohio.
• Dijkstra is one of 13 players in America East with multiple goals this season and is tied for third in the conference for goals by a first-year.
• Vermont was picked to finish fifth in the America East preseason polls. Sophia Drees and Lefranc were also named to the preseason all-conference team.
• Drees, Reggie Hillery, and Meg Weyer were all selected as captains for this season.

 
SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS

• The Catamounts will face Wagner for the first time since 2021, when they defeated them 2-1 on Staten Island. Alina Gerke and Clodagh Ferry scored the goals for Vermont on the day.
• The Seahawks will face Bucknell at 3 p.m. on Friday before making the trip up to Burlington. They picked up their first win of the season last weekend when they defeated Towson, 2-1.
• Cami Valor and Charlotte Muller lead Wagner in scoring with two goals and an assist each. Floortje Leunisse has the Seahawks other goal of the season.
• Saar van Dalen has posted a .714 save percentage and 2.00 goals against average in three starts this season.
