BURLINGTON, Vt. –  The Vermont men's basketball team won in Patrick Gym against New Hampshire on Thursday night. Ileri Ayo-Faleye led the Catamounts in scoring with 16 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Vermont started off on a 7-0 run in the first two minutes of the game.
• New Hampshire climbed their way back as the score was 13-8 with 16 minutes remaining. An Ileri Ayo-Faleye pass to a Sam Alamutu left corner mid-range shot would extend the lead back to seven.
• A Noah Barnett slam dunk put UVM up 24-11 with 12 minutes left.
• The Wildcats went on a 9-3 run as they were only down 27-20, but a Jace Roquemore three extended the lead back to 10 at the 8-minute mark.
• With five minutes left in the half, Shamir Bogues hit a mid-range floater to extend the UVM lead 40-24.
• With one minute remaining, Ileri Ayo-Faleye went full court and made an and-one paint finish. Ayo-Faleye would make the free throw as Vermont led New Hampshire at halftime 49-30.
• Nick Fiorillo kicked off the scoring in the 2^nd half hitting a right-wing three.
• At the 12-minute mark, Nick Fiorillo hit his 3^rd three of the game this time hitting a left-wing three as UVM was up 63-39.
• Minutes later, Sean Blake threw down a fast break slam dunk.
• A TJ Hurley mid-range jumper would extend the Vermont lead 68-45 with 7 minutes left.

• Sam Alamutu had his first double-double of the season and his second in his career with 10 points and 12 rebounds.
• Vermont outrebounded New Hampshire 34-27.

• Vermont's defense held New Hampshire to a shooting percentage of 26.1% from three.
