VERMONT OUTLOOK
- Vermont is coming off a 7-13 loss against Marist this past Saturday.
- Lauren Lefebvre and Lydia Doraz both had a team-high two goals for the Catamounts against Marist.
- Lydia Doraz leads Vermont with 8 goals on the season.
- Vermont ranks 9th in the country and 1st in the America East in clear percentage (93.9%)
- UVM also ranks 12th in the country and 2nd in the America East in grounds ball per game (19.7).
- The Catamounts return Anna Rosenberger and Sabine Godwin who each made the America East All-Rookie Team last year. UVM also returns Senior, Maddie Erskine, who recorded 29 goals and eight assists in 2023.
- UVM was picked fifth in the America East Preseason Poll. Reigning champion Binghamton was selected first in the poll, receiving six first-place votes.
- Claire Adlehelm, Kendall Traveis, and Meghan O'Connor were selected to as team captains for the 2025 campaign.

SCOUTING THE STAGS
- Fairfield has started the year off 1-3 with their most recent game losing to Hofstra 11-17 this past Saturday,
- The Stags were picked No. 1 in the MAAC Conference Coaches' Poll after finishing with a record of 16-3 (9-0 MAAC) in 2024. Fairfield lost in the MAAC Championship to Niagara but received an at-large to the NCAA Tournament. They would go on to lose in the first round to Johns Hopkins.
- The Stags return sophomore attacker Kelly Haggerty, who was named to the All-MAAC rookie team in 2024. Haggerty tallied 30 points (20 goals and 10 assists) and 16 ground balls last year.
- Vermont and Fairfield will meet for the 10th time in series history on Wednesday. The Stags defeated the Catamounts last year 12-10 at Rafferty Stadium.

HOME OPENER
UVMÂ begins the season with eight straight road games before its home opener against CCSU on Mar. 18. The matchup between the Cats and the Blue Devils will begin at 4 p.m. at Virtue Field.
