Men's Lacrosse Travels South for Matchup with Dartmouth

BURLINGTON, Vt. – Vermont (2-1) will travel to Dartmouth (2-1) on Friday (Feb. 28). The game will begin at 4:00 p.m. and be streamed live on ESPN+.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

The Catamounts defeated Utah last Friday, 11-10.
Matthew Drimmie, Cullen Decker, and Luke Reiter had four points each for Vermont. Drimmie was the leading scorer with four goals, and Charlie O'Brien was the lone other Catamount with multiple goals at two. Five different players recorded a goal.
Decker and Reiter were the top distributors for Vermont, each with three assists.
Henry Dodge, Jack Combs, and Drimmie were honored for their performances. They earned Faceoff Specialist of the Week, Defensive Player of the Week, and Rookie of the Week.
Dodge went a season-high 19-24 from the faceoff spot with a career-high 15 ground balls. He also added his first two points of the season with a goal and an assist. Combs had four ground balls, and two caused turnovers in the win.
Friday will be the 31st meeting with the Big Green, who won last year in Burlington, 11-10. Griffin Fenech was the top scorer that day with four points on two goals and two assists. Reiter and Max Frattaroli each had hattricks that day.
Drimmie is the leading scorer for Vermont, scoring seven goals. Charlie Pope is second with five, while five Catamounts are tied for third with two each.
Reiter is the top distributor for Vermont this season with six assists. Decker and Drimmie are tied for second with three. Harrison Josloff is third with two.
Ryan Daly is 2-1 in cage this season and has posted a 9.44 GAA and 56.3 save percentage.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN

Dartmouth has won two of its three games this season. Its only loss came against UMass but defeated Bucknell and Holy Cross.
Thomas Power and Colin McGill are tied for the lead in goals this season, with eight each. Hopper Zappitello and Tyler Juhlin are second and third, with three each.
Power leads Dartmouth in assists with five. Zappitello and Paradine are second and third, with three each.
Mason Morel is the starting goalie for the Big Green and has posted an 8.73 GAA in three games with a 61.5 save percentage.
