VERMONT OUTLOOK
- The Catamounts return Anna Rosenberger and Sabine Godwin who each made the America East All-Rookie Team last year. UVM also returns Senior, Maddie Erskine, who recorded 29 goals and eight assists in 2023.
- UVM was picked fifth in the America East Preseason Poll. Reigning champion Binghamton was selected first in the poll, receiving six first-place votes.
- Claire Adlehelm, Kendall Traveis, and Meghan O'Connor were selected to as team captains for the 2025 campaign.
- The Vermont women's lacrosse program welcomed 6 new Catamounts for the 2025 season. The incoming class is made of 5 first-years and one transfer. UVM brings in three attackers, one midfielder, one defender, and one goalie.

SCOUTING THE DOLPHINS
- The Dolphins are coming off a 5-13 loss against Michigan on Friday.
- Jacksonville was picked No. 2 in the ASUN Conference Coaches' Poll after finishing with a record of 9-9 (6-0 ASUN) mark in 2024. Jacksonville suffered a 10-9 loss to Jacksonville in the ASUN Semifinals.
- The Dolphins return Ainsley Scruggs who tallied 24 goals in 2024 which ranked third on the team. They also return Kaila Stasulli, who was the ASUN Defender of the Year a season ago. The senior defender was named this year's ASUN Preseason Defensive Player of the Year. Â
- Vermont and Jacksonville will meet for the third time in series history on Sunday. The Catamounts suffered a 20-5 loss to the Dolphins in 2018.

HOME OPENER
UVMÂ begins the season with two straight road games before its home opener against Marist on Feb. 23. The matchup between the Cats and the Red Foxes will begin at 11 a.m. at Virtue Field.
