WOMEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOK
Vermont women's lacrosse (4-5, 0-1 AE) will host UMass Lowell (7-2, 1-0 AE). Action from Burlington, VT at Virtue Field will tip-off at 3:30 p.m.
Mascoma Bank will be handing out Rally Towels and UVM Cancer Center will have a table and be giving away cow bells and chap stick for fans.

VERMONT OUTLOOK

SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
- UMass Lowell has started the year off 7-2 with their most recent game defeating New Hampshire 15-8 this past Sunday.
- The River Hawks were picked No. 3 in the America East Preseason Poll after finishing with a record of 12-6 (3-3 AE) in 2024. UMass Lowell lost to UAlbany in the America East Semifinals 11-12 last year.
- Sophomore attacker, Chloe Bowers, leads UMass Lowell in scoring with 28 goals this season. Bowers was named the 2024 America East Rookie of the Year.
- UMass Lowell Assistant Coach Ava Vasile enters her first season as a coach for the River Hawks. Vasile set a Catamount program record of 219 career goals last year.
- Vermont and UMass Lowell will meet for the 11th time in series history on Saturday. The last time these two teams the Catamounts took a 11-16 loss in Lowell last year. UVM leads the all-time series against the River Hawks 7-3.
