CHARLOTTE, N.C.– The Catamounts (5-2, 0-0 AE) secured their fifth straight win with a 4-0 victory over Queens (0-6) on Friday evening at Bessant Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Junior forward Alicia Battistelli gave the Catamounts the 1-0 lead with a goal off an assist from Senior forward Maddie Priestly.

First-year Veerle Nijhuis netted her third goal of the season in the 17th minute of the game off a penalty corner, assisted by junior defender Klara Mikulaskova, to make it 2-0.

In the 33rd minute, Nijhuis converted on a penalty stroke to extend the lead to 3-0.

Nijhuis completed the hat trick in the 46th minute with a goal off a penalty corner, assisted by junior defender Maddy Weaver, sealing the 4-0 victory.
