BURLINGTON, Vt. – TJ Hurley recorded a team-high 27 points on Thursday evening as Vermont (14-10, 6-3 AE) lost to Maine (6-18, 4-5 AE) 70-76 from Memorial Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vermont struggled out of the gate as Maine took a 10-4 lead at the 15:35 mark of the first half.
- Catamounts would go on a 5-0 run to the 12-minute media timeout thanks to a TJ Hurley midrange bank shot.
- TJ Long connected with a right-wing three, but Vermont continued to trail down 18-16 with 7:32 remaining in the first half.
