2026 Cross Country Schedule Announced, Catamounts to Host Two Meets in St. Albans

BURLINGTON, Vt. – The 2026 Vermont men's and women's cross country schedule was unveiled on Wednesday. The Catamounts will host a pair of home meets at Hard'Ack Recreation Area in St. Albans.

NOTES
  • The 2026 season begins with the Vermont Invite on Saturday, Sep. 5 at Hard'Ack Recreation Area as they host UMass Lowell. The action from St. Albans is slated to start at 1 p.m.
  • Both Catamount Cross Country squads will head to Hanover, N.H. for the Maribel Sanchez Souther Invitational, hosted by Dartmouth, on Sept. 19 followed by the Saint Michael's Equality Invite on Sept. 26 in Colchester, Vt.
  • Select racers will also travel to Columbia, Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic hosted by the University of Missouri on Friday, Sept. 25
  • Vermont cross country's second home meet will be on Sunday, Oct. 18 in the Fall Foliage Invitational. Events begin at 12:30 p.m. with the women's 5k, followed by the men's 8k at 1:15 p.m. The meet will be UVM's final tune-up before the conference championship races.
  • The America East Championships will be on Friday, Oct. 30 on the campus of UAlbany.
  • The 2026 NCAA Division I Cross Country Northeast Regional is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 13, 2026, at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York. The event is being hosted by Hofstra University.
