Vermont will host six regular-season non-conference matchups at Patrick Gym for the 2026-27 season. Last year, UVM also hosted six out-of-conference games.

  • The Catamounts start their season with three home exhibitions before the regular season begins. Vermont will host Holy Cross on October 17th, host Stonehill on October 24th, and once again host crosstown matchup Saint Michael's on October 28th.

  • UVM begins the regular season with two straight road games. The Catamounts will face off against Iona on November 2nd and then Vermont will travel to Fairfield for a game on November 5th. The Fairfield game will be the first game of two contests for the new annual Metro/America East Challenge.

  • The Cats will then have a two-game homestand. Vermont will host Quinnipiac on November 8th for the last game in the Metro/America East Challenge. Then they will host Plattsburgh State on November 14th.

  • UVM will then head on the road to face their first Ivy League opponent of the year at Yale on November 18th. Vermont fell to Yale last year at Patrick Gym 77-74.

  • Vermont will then head back home to face Brown on November 21st.  Last season, Vermont defeated Brown 89-84 in double overtime on the road.

  • Before Thanksgiving, Vermont will head to Albany to play Siena on November 24th. The Catamounts defeated the Saints 83-69 last year. Siena won the MAAC Tournament last year and lost to Duke in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

  • After Thanksgiving, the Cats will travel to Hofstra for an MTE. The tournament consists of four teams: Vermont, Hofstra, Merrimack, and Colgate. Vermont will play three games from November 27th – November 29th.

  • To kick off December, Vermont will host Princeton on the 3rd. The Catamounts fell to the Tigers on the road last year in overtime, 69-75.

  • Vermont will then travel south to face Florida on December 6th. The last time Vermont played Florida was in the 2015-16 season.

  • UVM will stay on the road for a matchup against Merrimack on December 10th. The Cats defeated the Warriors 66-59 last year.

  • Vermont will host Northeastern on December 13th. A rematch of last year's contest when the Catamounts won the last-ever basketball game in historic Matthews Arena 85-74.

  • The Cats will head out to Pennsylvania to play Robert Morris on December 20th. The last time Vermont faced Robert Morris was in 1996.

  • To round out Vermont's non-conference schedule is a home contest against Western New England on December 29th.
