Burlington, Vt. – Sophia Kling recorded six saves as Vermont (3-4-3) tied with UConn (2-2-4) 0-0 on the road from Joseph J. Marrone Stadium on a windy Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

In the 17th minute, UConn nearly connected on a corner kick, but the ball narrowly missed the UConn attacker.

Minutes later, Sophia Kling made a routine save on a corner kick.

In the 28th minute, Ella Hall intercepted the ball and took a shot from outside the box, narrowly missing left of the post.

In the 35th minute, Madeline Gardner took a shot from inside the box that missed left of the net.

Sophia Kling made a diving save on a UConn attempt in the 42nd minute.

The score remained 0-0 at halftime.

In the 72nd minute, Kling saved a UConn shot from outside the box.

A few minutes later, Eleni Stowell's free kick narrowly cleared the crossbar.

With four minutes remaining, Sophia Kling made a diving save to her left.
