| College For Every Student Vermont student-athletes are passionate supporters of the College for Every Student (CFES) program. CFES is a nonprofit organization committed to raising the academic aspirations and performance of underserved youth so that they can prepare for, gain access to, and succeed in college. Â Vermont student-athletes mentor children at two Burlington elementary schools; Integrated Arts Academy and Edmunds Elementary. |

 Sept. 27 - The swimming and diving team participated in the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) 5k Walk at Waterfront Park and helped raise over $3700 for the organization | 
Oct. 25 - The men's lacrosse team traveled to Williston to help out at Isham Farm. The guys helped complete 3 months of work in just 3 hours.

| April 6 - Members of the University of Vermont women's swimming and diving team spent Sunday volunteering at UVM's Food Salvage program, helping to prepare and provide a healthy meal to hungry citizens in the Burlington community. Junior captain Samantha Russo, who helps coordinate the university's food salvage, got the team involved with the program this past Sunday | Dec. 19 - The UVM Student-Athlete Advisory Council spearheaded the second annual Catamount Dollar Challenge.
