Program Description
The Catamount Mentor Program connects alumni to student-athletes in a meaningful way. Alumni have the opportunity to share their experiences, providing students with valuable insight into navigating their time at UVM and easing their transition to life after college. This program is co-sponsored by the UVM Alumni Association and Vermont Athletics.

Requirements for alumni mentors:

• Complete questionnaire
• Email or call your student once a month
• Be available if student reaches out to you
• Offer advice from your time and experience at UVM and since you graduated

Requirements for students:

• Complete questionnaire
• Meet with Athletics Staff person to discuss career interests (prior to being matched)
  • Respond to mentor's emails or phone calls
  • Be open to mentor's suggestions
  • Connect with your mentor for advice on post-UVM plans
