CAREER HONORS: 
• 2009-10 MAAC All-Rookie Team

2013-14 SEASON: Vermont was 21-5 when Rusin scored 10 or more points ... Converted a 4-point play at Duke with 10.4 seconds left to tie the game up at 90 … UVM fell 91-90 to the Blue Devils … It was his second 4-point play in his career, also converting vs. UMBC (3/10/13) in the 2013 America East Semifinals ... Scored 17 points in a win over Sonoma State ... Added 12 points at Harvard ... Scored a game-high 16 points to lead Vermont past Yale in the non-conference finale ... Scored a season-high 22 points in the win at UMBC ... Netted 16 points in a win over Binghamton, was 4-for-5 from 3-point range ... Moved into UVM’s top-10 all-time 3-pointer leaders with a pair of three’s in a win over Hartford (1/29/14) ... Became the second Vermont player in 2013-14 to reach the 1,000-career point milestone in the second half at New Hampshire (2/19/14) ... Was the 32nd Catamount to score 1,000 points and the ninth Vermont native on the list ... Scored 10 points in the first round NIT game at Georgia ... Finished the season ranked third on the team in scoring (9.6 rpg) ... Reached double figures 16 times during the year ... Made at least one 3-pointer in the final nine games of the year.

2012-13 SEASON: Played in 28 games, starting 21, missed several games with an injury … Made his Catamount debut in the season opener at Siena … Reached double figures in scoring nine times … Scored 32 points in the first two games of the America East Tournament to help propel UVM to the championship game … Scored a season-high 25 points in a win versus Stony Brook (1/18/13) … Made a season-high five 3-pointers in a win over UMBC (3/10/13) in the America East Semifinals … Finished the season averaging 7.5 points per game.
 
2011-12 SEASON: Sat out the 2011-12 season per NCAA rules after transfering to UVM from Marist.

BEFORE VERMONT: Transfered to Vermont from Marist where he played his first two seasons … Led the Red Foxes in scoring as a freshman and finished third on the team as a sophomore … During his rookie campaign he tallied 9.5 points per contest and connected on a team-best 58 3-pointers on 43.0 percent shooting, while starting in 26 of the team's 30 games ... His 3-point percentage ranked third in the MAAC and his 1.9 three-pointers per game ranked sixth ... Scored at least 10 points in 17 games … As a sophomore he averaged 7.8 per contest, but again led Marist with 47 made 3-pointers … Tallied a career-high 22 points at Canisius and has 544 points in his first two years of play … Played his senior year at Topsail High School in Hampstead, N.C. after playing first three years of high school at Twin Valley in Wilmington, Vt. … Scored over 2,000 points in high school and was named all-state twice.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Richard and Cheryl Rusin … His sister Corey played basketball at Boston College, while his sister Casey played soccer and basketball at Johnson State and is the school’s all-time scoring leader in soccer … Is an environmental sciences major.
