SENIOR SEASON (2017-18): Appeared in six games ... Earned his first career start in a Senior Night victory over Binghamton ... Grabbed a rebound and dished out two assists in the home opener against UMaine-Fort Kent

JUNIOR SEASON (2016-17): Saw action in nine games for the Catamounts … Recorded a season-high three points and 19 minutes against Lyndon State (11/19/16) … Made a field goal against Maine (3/1/17).

SOPHOMORE SEASON (2015-16): Played in seven games off the bench ... Played a season high 12 minutes against Fisher (12/19/15) and recorded three assists, two rebounds and a steal.

FRESHMAN SEASON (2014-15): Urso joined the Catamounts as a walk-on ... Saw action in nine games off the bench ... His only points of the year and first career points were a 3-pointer vs. UMass Lowell (2/11/15) ... In that game the Catamounts made 16 3-pointers and set a new school record for best 3-point field goal percentage ... Urso's 3-pointer was the 16th of the game for UVM.

BEFORE VERMONT: He played high school basketball at Central Catholic in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania ... Prepped last year (2013-14) at Spire Institute (Genevia, Ohio) ... As a senior at Central Catholic he averaged 20 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game ... During his one season at Spire Institute, Urso averaged 22 points, 3.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game ... A team captain at Central Catholic, he helped the tem win the WPIAL Section Championship in 2013 and the team advanced to the WPIAL District Championship Game in 2012, as well as the Pennsylvania State Quarterfinals ... Urso was naemd to the WPIAL All-Section First Team, the WPIAL East District Fab Five and was the Pittsburg Roundball Classic AAAA Champion and MVP.

PERSONAL: Is the son of Gary and Jenny Urso ... Has two older brothers - Matthew and Christopher who both attended Duquesne and played hockey ... Dad played basketball at the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown ... Is a civil engineering major at Vermont.
