* 2024 graduate from Rice Memorial High School, where he played basketball, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, and football
* Won 3 basketball state championships at Patrick Gym (2021, 2022, 2024) and team captain for 2 seasons
* 2024 Vermont Gatorade Player of the Year and 2024 Vermont Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year
* Averaged 16.2 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game during senior season
* 2023 Metro Player of the Year and 2-time All-State 1st-Team selection

PERSONAL:
* Son of Stacy and Craig Bessette (Craig played hockey at Southern New Hampshire) 
* Lists Rick & Morty as his favorite TV show and likes to play golf
* Chose #15 because it has been his number since he was a freshman in high school
* Chose UVM because it, "has always been a dream of mine."
