LOWELL, Mass. - The Vermont men's basketball team plays its second straight road game this week with a trip to UMass Lowell. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Tsongas Center. The game is the first half of a Riverhawk/Catamount basketball doubleheader as the women's teams will square off at 4:30 p.m. The game can be seen online via ESPN3.com and A.J. Kanell will have the call on ESPN 101.3 FM (online: 1013ESPN.com).

The Catamounts are 10-9 overall, 5-1 in America East and coming off a 73-68 loss at New Hampshire on Thursday. UMass Lowell dropped a 65-45 decision to Stony Brook on Thursday and sits at 9-11 overall and 3-4 in conference play.

LAST TIME OUT - New Hampshire 73, Vermont 68
Matt Miller lead all scorers with 18 points and was one of five Wildcats to reach double figures in the scoring column ... He was 4-for-5 from behind the arc and drained a key 3-pointer with just over a minute left in the game as UNH held off Vermont, 73-68, to hand the Catamounts their first league loss of the season and snap a five-game win streak ... Dre Wills led the Catamounts with a career-high 17 points and Trae Bell-Haynes added 12 points ... The two teams combined for 75 free throw attempts and both teams struggled from the line ... The Catamounts lead America East in field goal percentage, shooting 46.9 percent from the floor and also lead the league in field goal percentage defense at 39.6 percent ... Dre Wills leads the league in field goal percentage (59.3%), eighth in assists (2.8 pg), fourth in steals (1.9 pg), and fourth in blocks (0.9 pg).

BK IS BACK
Redshirt sophomore Brendan Kilpatrick has had an injury plagued career ... He missed all of last season with a foot injury, developed turf toe during the team's Canadian trip this summer and has had two concussions during the regular season, his last suffered during the Yale game ... Kilpatrick has played in the last four games and is averaging 8.0 points, 2.7 rebounds and shooting 57.1 percent in three league games.

BOARDING
Freshman Zach McRoberts is averaging 11 rebounds per game over the last two contests ... He grabbed a career-high 11 boards in a win against Binghamton and matched that at New Hampshire on Thursday ... McRoberts is a scrappy, energy player, always providing the Catamounts with great hustle on the floor ... He is averaging 4.3 rebounds per game on the year and 2.8 points per game.
