ABOUT VERMONTThe Catamounts won both their games this past week to improve to 2-4 overall on the season. They opened the week by cruising to a 17-10 victory at NJIT, and followed by defeating Air Force 11-10 in triple overtime on Saturday. Sophomores
Cam Milligan and
Ian MacKay led the Catamount charge in the pair of victories with seven points each. Sophomore goalie
Jon Kaplan made a combined 21 saves in the two tilts to collect his first career victories. Vermont is averaging 10.00 goals per contest and owns a .576 faceoff percentage through the first six games on the year.

LAST TIME OUTCam Milligan tallied a goal 20 seconds into the third overtime period to lift Vermont to an 11-10 victory over Air Force on Saturday in Bethesda, Maryland. The game-winner from Milligan was the first of his Catamount career.
Ian MacKay topped all UVM scorers with four points (3 g, 1 ast) in the contest, while Milligan,
Michael Clarke and
James Barlow each added a pair of scores.
Jon Kaplan made a career-high 13 saves in the tilt to collect his second straight victory in the Vermont cage.
SCOUTING GEORGETOWNThe Hoyas enter the matchup with Vermont on a three-game winning streak. They've defeated Hofstra (13-11), Mount St. Mary's (11-5) and Hobart (15-10) in the last two weeks to improve to 3-2 on the year. Georgetown is averaging 11.40 goals per game and allowing 9.80 to opponents through the opening five games.
