SENIOR DAY
Prior to Monday's meet, Vermont will honor the five members of its senior class: Diane Brown, Gabrielle Logozzo, Elena Melloni, Maggie Preston, and Christa Weaver. The class has won a total of 29 meets over the last four seasons, and helped the Catamounts set a program record with 662 points at last year's America East Championships for third place overall. Preston (2015 Most Outstanding Diver) and Weaver (2013 Most Outstanding Rookie) have each won major conference awards in their careers.

ABOUT VERMONT
The Catamounts have won four consecutive dual meets by an average of nearly 72 points to improve to 5-2 on the season entering Monday's matchup with Northeastern. Included in that four-meet winning streak were convincing home victories over Siena, Maine, and Bryant. After the Northeastern meet, UVM has just two more events before the America East Championships in Worcester, Massachusetts on Feb. 11-14.

In its last team competition, UVM finished third overall at the Terrier Invitational on Nov. 22 with 577.5 points. Army won the event by 20 points over host Boston University with 896.5 points. Haley Gula and Shannon Cowley led the Catamounts as the duo went 1-2 in the 100-yard breaststroke for Vermont. Gula and Cowley finished second and fourth in the 200 breast with times of 2:20.17 and 2:20.83.

Cowley also competed individually in the 100 breast at the AT&T U.S. Winter National Championships on Dec. 4 at Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington. The sophomore was competing for a chance to post a qualifying time for the Olympic trials for the 2016 Summer Games. She placed 74th overall with a time of 1:15.28 after entering the competition as the 84th-ranked swimmer.

SCOUTING NORTHEASTERN
Northeastern earned second place in the Delaware Double Meet last time out on Saturday as the Huskies defeated Drexel 196-104 but fell to the host squad Delaware 167-133. NU registered a total of eight event wins, 13 top-three finishes, and 28 top-five spots in the meet. The Huskies also have victories this season over Wagner, New Hampshire, and MIT.

Former Catamount diver Lauren Colby is now serving as the diving coach for the Huskies. Colby was a two-time team captain and earned All-Conference honors as a senior in 2012. The Huskies hosted the Catamounts on their Senior Day last season and posted a 175-117 victory in Boston. UVM took the top five spots in the 100 back and swept the top three positions in the 200 IM.

WHO'S NEXT
Vermont travels to Rhode Island for a 12 p.m. meet against the Rams on Saturday (Jan. 23) at the Tootell Aquatics Center.
