Isabella Sericolo scored for the second time this season but New Hampshire used a three-goal second half to push past the Vermont field hockey team 3-1 on Friday.

Rachael Picchi fed the ball to
Tess O'Brien in the circle, subsequently sending a centering pass that was broken up by a New Hampshire player. The ball ended up on
Rebekah Silver's stick before it was kicked away by goalkeeper Kelsey Rudert, rolling to Sericolo to jam it home in the 22nd minute.

After Kayla Sliz tied the game in the 37th minute with a bottom right tally, the Wildcats took a 2-1 lead on a penalty corner goal by Ashley Mendonca, set up by the battery of Gianna Bensaia and Katie Audino.

Soon after, UNH added some insurance when Lindsey Nerbonne found the back of the cage. Following a corner, Mendonca faked a shot and instead dished a pass to Nerbonne, who went bottom left to seal the victory.

Vermont keeper
Lena Benwood made 10 saves on the afternoon. She has now reached double digits in saves in three matches on the season.
