Greetings from Catamount Country!
We are thrilled to share that the UVM Board of Trustees approved plans to move forward to the design development phase for the proposed Multi-Purpose Center at its meeting in late October.
The momentum is building in support of this critical project. To date, we have secured more than $5 million in commitments, which is keeping us on track for construction to start in early 2019.
This project will provide state-of-the-art facilities for the general student body and our varsity student-athletes, including a transformational renovation of our beloved Gutterson Fieldhouse, a modern arena for basketball and events, a five-fold increase to student health and wellness spaces, improved locker rooms, a strength and conditioning space for all varsity athletes, enhancements for club sports, and better classrooms and study spaces.
We want you to be among the first to visit the newly created project's web site. It can be found at

We are sharing the most up to date information, along with a video that tells a special story about this effort. This is the right time, the right project, and the right location for our Multi-Purpose Center.
We look forward to keeping you updated as the momentum continues. Now is the time!
We invite you to help us make this happen.
