PROMOTIONS
Tuesday is Vermont Dairy Night presented by Monument Farms Dairy, located in Weybridge, Vermont. Join us for a night full of supporting local farmers at the Gut.

TOYS FOR TOTS
UVM Athletics will have Toys For Tots boxes at all home games until Dec. 15 to collect new and unwrapped toys to be donated for local families in need this holiday season. The Toys For Tots drive is presented by TD Bank. Fans can make donations at the marketing table. Last year, the local Toys For Tots program served over 1,700 families, providing toys to over 5,000 children in the greater Champlain Valley area.

MOVEMBER CAMPAIGN
The men's hockey team has launched a Movember campaign, growing mustaches for the month of November to raise money and awareness for men's health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention. Fans who donate at least $25 and use the phrase Go Cats Go in the "include a message with your donation" section will be automatically entered to win four (4) tickets to the Brown game on Saturday, Dec. 9 or a stick signed by the entire team. To donate online to the team or to an individual player, please visit go.uvm.edu/movember.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
UConn is riding a six-game winless streak (0-5-1), and the only win in its last 12 contests came against Vermont on Nov. 3 at the XL Center to open a weekend series. The Huskies won that contest 5-1 before UVM responded with a 4-2 come-from-behind victory on Nov. 4 to split the series.

Spencer Naas and Maxim Letunov share the team lead with 10 points, while Letunov and Johnny Austin lead UConn in assists (8). Sophomore Alexander Payusov has tallied a team-high six goals, including four on the power play, but he has missed the last seven games due to injury. Adam Huska has started 13 of 15 games in net with a 3-9-2 record, 2.94 goals against average, and an .898 save percentage.

Former Boston College assistant Mike Cavanaugh is in his fifth season as the head coach of the program. Last year, the Huskies were swept by Northeastern in the Hockey East Opening Round and finished at 12-16-8 (8-10-4 HEA).

SERIES HISTORY
Tuesday will mark the 29th all-time meeting of the series, which dates back to the first year of the program in 1963. The Huskies have taken two of the last three matchups following a five-game winning streak for the Catamounts.

Since UConn joined Hockey East prior to the 2014-15 season, the Huskies' only three wins have come at the XL Center. The Catamounts are 11-1-1 all-time at home against Connecticut, winning all three Hockey East meetings by a single goal.

NORTHEASTERN RECAP
Alex Esposito's first collegiate goal gave the Catamounts a 1-0 lead through two periods, but 12th-ranked Northeastern clawed back with a two-goal third period to win 2-1 on Friday night at Matthews Arena. Stefanos Lekkas made 25 saves, including 14 key stops in the first period to keep the game scoreless.

Matt Filipe finally tied the game for Northeastern with 8:10 left in regulation on a deflection from a slap shot by Ryan Shea. The Huskies captured their first and only lead with 2:12 left in the third period on a rush from defenseman Jeremy Davies, who snapped a shot off the far post for the game-winning goal.

UVM pulled Lekkas with 1:53 left in the third for an extra skater, but its best 6-on-5 chance from Ross Colton from the left circle was stopped by rookie netminder Cayden Primeau (20 saves). Vermont held the nation's fifth-ranked power play scoreless on three attempts.

WHO'S NEXT
Vermont travels down I-89 to face former ECAC rival Dartmouth on Saturday (Nov. 25) at 7 p.m. at Thompson Arena. All UVM fans are invited to join the UVM Alumni Association for a pre-game reception from 4:30-6 p.m. at Jesse's (224 Lebanon St., Hanover, NH 03755). Light appetizers and a cash bar will be provided.
