USA TODAY COACHES' POLL

RPI RANKINGS
The Catamounts have locked down three top-30 RPI rankings after their second straight 6-2 start – No. 17 by ESPN and No. 30 by Fox Sports and CBS Sports.
BELL-HAYNES ON THE ALL-TIME LISTS
Bell-Haynes is close to cracking the top-10 on the program's career steals list. The senior captain has tallied 117 steals in his four-year career and only needs 22 more to ink his name in the record book. On the all-time assists list, he can move into eighth place with nine more dimes.
SCOUTING MARQUETTE
The Golden Eagles will play their fourth straight home game on Tuesday night. Marquette is one the top long-range shooting teams in the country. MU has made 90 attempts from beyond the arc, the 14th-highest total in Division I. Redshirt senior guard Andrew Rowsey ranks 14th in the nation with a 22.1 scoring average and he has drained the 18th-most three-pointers (28). Sophomore guard Markus Howard follows with 21.0 points per game and he sits in the top-10 nationally with 30 makes from long range.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Golden Eagles reached the win column with an 89-58 victory in the only previous meeting between the two programs on Dec. 22, 1995. However, Tuesday's matchup will be the fifth game at the BMO Harris Bradley Center for the Catamounts. In addition to last year's NCAA Tournament game against Purdue and the 1995 meeting with Marquette, the Green and Gold faced Tulsa and Cornell in the 1998 Blue and Gold Coca-Cola Classic. Tulsa, coached by current Kansas bench boss Bill Self, topped Vermont 72-61 in the first round of the tournament. UVM responded with a 67-56 win over Cornell in the consolation game.
