Vermont (1-0) will dive into America East action Saturday as they host conference twin-state rival New Hampshire. The home opener will begin at 2 p.m. at Forbush Natatorium.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
Saturday's meet will be New Hampshire's season opener after finishing the 2017-18 season with a 6-1 overall record and went undefeated in conference meets. The Wildcats were named America East champions last year after edging UMBC by 4.5 points to capture their seventh conference title.

Liza Baykova '18 earned Swimmer of the Meet honors after breaking four meet records while Hailee Miller '18 was awarded Diver of the Meet for winning the 1-meter board. The Wildcats won 10 of 20 events during the four-day championship meet.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts posted a 175-125 victory over the Wildcats last time they hosted during the 2016-17 season, winning eight of the 16 events. UVM and New Hampshire have traded home wins in each of the last five seasons.
WHO'S NEXT
Vermont continues its three-meet home stretch as the host against UMass on Saturday, Oct. 20 before Siena visits on Saturday, Oct. 27 for the annual Rally Against Cancer meet.
