Lekkas posted a career-high 48 saves in Vermont's season-opening win over the fourth-ranked Michigan Wolverines last Saturday. He did not allow a goal in the final 49:42 of the game and made an impressive 23 saves in the third period.
The junior was also named the Hockey East Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts in Ann Arbor.
The Catamounts return to action Thursday night as they host Laurentian in an exhibition tilt at 7 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets online at
