PALO ALTO, Calif. – Five Catamounts earned America East Field Hockey postseason honors, announced by the conference at its annual banquet Wednesday night in Palo Alto.
Landon Warren and
Rachel Phillips earned spots on the East Division All-Conference team,
Clodagh Ferry was named to the America East All-Rookie team, and
Olivia Hurd and
Taryn Marra were named to the America East All-Academic squad.

Warren earns a spot on the East All-Conference team for the second straight season after leading the team in goals (8) and points (17). The senior ranks fifth in program history in career points (80), tied for second in program history in career goals (39), and is tied for the most games played in program history (74).
Phillips earns her second career honors from the conference after a breakout junior campaign for the Asbury, New Jersey native. Phillips' 12 points is more than her first two seasons combined, and she was second on the team in both points and goals (5). The junior previously earned a spot on the 2016 America East All-Rookie team.
Ferry is one of just six East Division players named to the team. She is one of just seven Catamounts with multiple goals on the season and ranks fourth on the team in points (8). Ferry is tied for the team lead with a pair of game-winning-goals, scoring the overtime winner at Dartmouth (Sept. 7) and the regulation winner against Cornell (Sept. 16).
Hurd earns a spot on the America East All-Academic Team for the third consecutive year. The Stow, Massachusetts native holds a 3.90 GPA as a Data Science major at UVM. A two-time NFHCA Division I Scholar of Distinction and three-time NFHCA Division I National Academic squad selection, Hurd is tied for the program record with 74 games played. After posting 10 points in her first three seasons in Green & Gold, Hurd has a goal and four assists in 2018.
Marra rounded out the selections with her first career conference honor on the All-Academic team. The Clifton Park, New York native maintains a 3.91 GPA as an Elementary Education major at Vermont. On the field, Marra has played in every game for the Catamounts this season while making a pair of starts. She has not missed a game for UVM in almost two complete seasons.
Vermont takes on Pacific on Friday (Nov. 2) in the America East quarterfinal match, hosted by Stanford. The Cats and Tigers will square off at 5:30 p.m. Eastern time with the game available to stream via AmericaEast.Tv.
