UVM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IN BOSTON
The University of Vermont Alumni Association will host a free, informal reception for alumni, parents, and fans prior to Friday's game at nearby Cityside Bar (1960 Beacon Street, Brighton MA 02135). The event begins at 4:30 p.m. in the Cleveland Circle establishment.

The Catamounts have partnered with the University of Vermont Cancer Center to fundraise under the Center's Brovember initiative throughout the month of November. All proceeds from the month-long fundraiser will directly benefit the UVM Cancer Center and its efforts to help those in the community.

GOALS FOR GOOD with COMMUNITY BANK
Vermont men's hockey has partnered with Community Bank for 'Goals for Good.' For every goal the Cats score this season, Community bank will donate $100 to Special Olympics Vermont. This season's total through six games is 14 goals and $1,400 donated.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Boston College enters the series against Vermont with a 1-5-0 overall record and 1-1-0 mark in Hockey East play. The Eagles started the season with five consecutive losses before beating Merrimack last Saturday (Nov. 3) at Conte Forum, 4-1.

Junior David Cotton leads the team in goals (5) and points (7). Junior Joseph Woll holds a 2.28 goals against average, a .923 save percentage, and a 1-3-0 overall record to this point of the season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Boston College controls the all-time series with a 45-16-7 record against the Catamounts. UVM and BC met 20 times prior to the Cats joining Hockey East (2005-06). The Cats looks to snap a four-game losing streak against the Eagles.

Vermont's come-from-behind over UConn last Saturday marked the fifth time in the
Kevin Sneddon era the Cats have tied a game in the final minute of the third period and scored in overtime for the win. It marked the 12th time the Cats have scored in the final minute of the third period to salvage at least a tie under Sneddon.

Liam Coughlin's goal at 19:48 of the third period is tied for the second-latest GTG in the Sneddon era.
Ace Cowans' game-winning-goal at 4:59 of overtime is the latest regular season overtime-winner in the Sneddon era. Cowans' winner is the first tuime the Cats have won a game in the final second of overtime under Sneddon. UVM had previously won a pair of games in the final second of the third period in the Sneddon era.
