SWIMMING & DIVING NOTEBOOK
Vermont (3-2, 1-1 AE) continues their five-meet road stretch by competing in a pair of meets this weekend. The Catamounts travel to America East rival Stony Brook on Saturday (Nov. 10) for a 10 a.m. duel before seeing non-conference action at Bryant on Sunday (Nov. 11) for an 11 a.m. matchup.
SCOUTING THE SEAWOLVES
Stony Brook (0-2) enters their second year of competition after being placed on a competitive hiatus six years ago. The Seawolves will get their first taste of America East action this season against the Catamounts after falling to LIU Brooklyn and Sacred Heart in a tri-meet on Oct. 27. Junior Kyle Danin swept both backstroke events during their season opener while freshman Jess Salmon took the top spot in the 200 breast.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Seawolves and Catamounts have split the overall record at 4 wins apiece as UVM will look to take the upper hand in the series on Saturday. UVM's victory over Stony Brook in 2007 marked Vermont's first conference win since 1993 and the Cats handed their conference rival a 105-78 loss last season in the Seawolves' first meet back after reinstating the program.

SCOUTING THE BULLDOGS
Bryant begins their season with a 4-1 record after Boston College handed them a loss in their season opener. In a home tri-meet last weekend, the Bulldogs set a new pool record in the 400 medley relay as junior Jillian Rice captured four individual wins. Bryant won their first-ever Northeast Conference championship title last season, edging out Wagner by 55 points.
Â
INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be the 11th meeting between the two teams and Vermont owns an impressive 11-0 record against Bryant in the all-time series. The Bulldogs suffered a 164.5-93.5 defeat the last time the Catamounts traveled to the Chace Athletic Center Pool in the 2016-17 season and UVM swept four events when they hosted Bryant in Burlington last year.
WHO'S NEXT
The Catamounts break for the holiday before traveling to Worcester to compete in the three-day Gompei Invitational hosted by WPI beginning on Friday, Nov. 30.
