America East: Release
Lamb earns his third Player of the Week honor and shares the weekly award with UMass Lowell's Christian Lutete. In a split 1-1 week for UVM, the Rochester, New York native averaged 31.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks per game. He shot 55.0% (22-for-40) from the field and canned eight three-pointers in the two games.
In a thrilling 83-76 double overtime victory against St. Bonaventure last Tuesday, he scored a career-high 42 points on 15-of-28 shooting and buried six triples. He also pulled down six boards and swatted away three shots. The 42-point performance is the highest single-game point total by a UVM player since Taylor Coppenrath notched 43 points in the 2004 America East Championship Game.
He closed out the week with 21 points at defending Atlantic Sun champion and preseason favorite Lipscomb on Friday. He collected a team-best seven rebounds, blocked three more shots, and was credited with four assists.
