The University of Vermont Catamounts (0-3) head south to face the Dartmouth Big Green (1-1) on Friday (Sept. 7) before returning to Burlington to host the Fairfield Stags (3-1) Sunday afternoon at Moulton Winder Field.

The match in Hanover is slated to begin at 4 p.m. while Sunday's contest will begin at 12 p.m.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth holds a 1-1 overall record after falling to No. 20 Iowa and defeating Ball State 5-1 last weekend.

Senior goalie Hailey Valerio is 1-1 to start the season with a .667 save percentage. Six Dartmouth players are tied for the team lead with two points.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Friday's matchup will be the 38th meeting between the teams in a series that dates back to 1979. Vermont holds an 8-28-1 record against Dartmouth, but are 5-6 in contests since 2006.

In last year's game at Moulton Winder Field,
Sydney Melfi scored her first career goal in the 20th minute and Vermont took a 5-2 victory over the Big Green.

SCOUTING THE STAGS
Fairfield has wins over Lafayette, Villanova, and Temple to begin the season with its sole loss against Drexel. The Stags take on Holy Cross (0-3) tomorrow afternoon at home. Â

Senior midfielder Kaley McMullen and sophomore forward Danielle Profita are tied for the team lead with five points each. Sophomore Zoe Rosen has played all four games in goal for the Stags and holds a .762 save percentage and 1.64 goals against average.

Vermont looks to even the all-time series at 8-8 Sunday against the Stags. Sunday marks the first meeting between the two schools since Vermont's 4-2 loss at Fairfield in 2014. Â

CATAMOUNT CLASSIC
Next weekend marks the return of the Catamount Field Hockey Classic at Moulton Winder Field. UVM will host Cornell, Maine, and UC Davis, with doubleheaders on Friday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 16.
