Trae Bell-Haynes '18 has earned a spot on Team Canada's training camp roster ahead of September's 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Americas Qualifiers.

The two-time America East Player of the Year is one of 18 training camp invitees which includes six current NBA players – Kehm Birch (Orlando Magic), Dillon Brooks (Memphis Grizzlies), Justin Jackson (Orlando Magic), Cory Joseph (Indiana Pacers), Kelly Olynyk (Miami Heat), and Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers).
Earlier this month, Bell-Haynes inked a professional contract with the Fraport Skyliners of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) – the highest level of professional club basketball in Germany.
The Canadian National Team will resume FIBA Basketball World Cup Americas Qualifiers on Thursday (Sept. 13) at 7:30 p.m. EST against Brazil at Place Bell in Laval, Quebec. Tickets for the event are on sale now through
