BOSTON, Mass. – Maddie Limanek won the 400 IM with a time of 4:27.91 as the Catamounts fell to the Northeastern Huskies by a 231-69 final Saturday afternoon at Barletta Natatorium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kristina Posnick (10:46.37) and Sophia Smith (10:49.47) combined to finish second and third in the 1,000 free in the afternoon's third event. Posnick later finished fourth in the 500 free with a time of 5:16.63.
- Kira Parker clocked a time of 1:01.51 in the 100 back to finish third in Boston.
- Senior Haley Gula posted a time of 1:09.13 in the 100 breast to finish third.
- Emily Murphy finished third in the one-meter dive with a score of 238.05. Teammate Ashley Branagan took third in the three-meter dive with a score of 223.27.
- In the 100 free, Sierra Sexton finished second with a time of 55.80.
- Morgan Montgomery took third in the 200 back with a time of 2:12.28.
- Katie Rivers followed Limanek in the 400 IM, taking fourth with a time of 4:44.94.
UP NEXT
Vermont returns to Forbush Natatorium for the final time in the 2018-19 season next weekend as host against Rhode Island. The nine members of the Class of 2019 will be honored prior to the meet.
