Hobey Fan Vote
The Hobey Baker is awarded annually to the nation's top men's hockey player. Since 1981, a total of 37 players have won college hockey's top individual award. Ryan Miller won the 2001 Hobey Baker as a sophomore at Michigan State, and was the last goalie to win the award.
Lekkas is one of eight goaltenders nominated for the 2019 award. He currently leads the country in saves per game (32.1) and is second in the nation in total saves (641). The junior ranks seventh in the NCAA with a .930 save percentage. He has recorded a career-high 48 saves twice this season, the most saves in a single game in the NCAA this season.
