BOUNCE BACK GAMES
The Catamounts haven't lost back-to-back regular season games since December of 2017. Vermont is 4-0 this season after a loss with an average margin of victory of 26.3 points. UVM has not suffered consecutive league setbacks since early February of 2016 (UAlbany, UML – 43 games).

DUNCAN BROTHERS MAKE HISTORY
Wednesday night against UMBC Ernie, Everett, and Robin Duncan became the second trio of brothers to ever start in the same Division I men's basketball game, joining Villanova's Larry, Keith, and Reggie Herron on Feb. 26, 1977.

ERNIE ON LONG ISLAND
Ernie Duncan has played very well at Island Federal Credit Union Arena during his UVM career. The redshirt senior has averaged 10.0 points per game shooting 58.8% from the floor and 70.0% from three-point land. His 11.8 points per game overall against Stony Brook is the most by any of the Catamount returners.

SCOUTING STONY BROOK
The Seawolves enter Saturday's contest on a seven-game winning streak, tied for the seventh longest active streak in the NCAA. On Wednesday night, Stony Brook battled back to keep their streak intact. Down eight at UAlbany the Seawolves scored 13 of the final 19 points in regulation to force overtime. Freshman Miles Latimer blocked a UAlbany shot as time expired to preserve a 67-66 win over the Great Danes.

The Seawolves enter Saturday's action a half-game ahead of Vermont for first place in the conference. Stony Brook has the 13th best rebounding margin (+7.4) and rebounding average (40.9/gm) in the nation.

Akwasi Yeboah leads the team in scoring with 17.8 points per game. He has scored 20 or more points in eight games this season for the Seawolves. Stony Brook is 6-2 this season when he scores 20 or more.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont has won 29 of the 40 all-time meetings against the Seawolves including seven of the last ten. Vermont defeated Stony Brook 70-51 in the teams' last meeting in the America East semifinals on March 6, 2018. UVM has won five straight in the series with the Seawolves last win coming in the 2016 America East Championship game.

SUITS AND SNEAKERS
Saturday night Vermont's coaches will be celebrating Suits and Sneakers Week in partnership with Coaches vs. Cancer. The NABC and American Cancer Society have partnered for over 25 years in this campaign. During the week, coaches in colleges and high schools across the nation will wear sneakers with their suits during games to raise awareness for Coaches vs. Cancer and the fight against cancer. Since its inception, the campaign has raised over $115 million.

National Life Group is the presenting sponsor of the 2018-19 Vermont men's basketball season
