Adrian Gahabka, an Interdisciplinary major, is our TD Bank Student-Athlete of the Week, for the period ending September 29.
Gahabka netted his first career game-winning goal Saturday evening at Stony Brook as the Catamounts defeated the Seawolves 1-0 to open the America East slate with three points on the road. Gahabka's decisive score was the second goal of his collegiate career.
Vermont will face UAlbany in the conference home opener Saturday as a part of Alumni Weekend. The opening kickoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase at
UVMathletics.com/Tickets or at the Gutterson Fieldhouse Box Office on game day. Youth 12 and under wearing a soccer jersey or anyone wearing a Parent/Family or Alumni Weekend Wristband will receive free admission. Fans can also catch all of the action in HD at

Saturday afternoon UVM Athletics and PC Construction will host a community wide celebration of construction of UVM's new Tarrant Center, Phyllis "Phiddy" Davis Recreation and Wellness and Gutterson Fieldhouse renovations from 12:30-2 p.m. You can meet and mingle with UVM student-athletes and staff at the parking lot adjacent to Gutterson Fieldhouse for this event, it is free and open to the public.
